vintage take 2 - mittens for kittens!

Mittens for Kittens and other Rhymes about Cats, chosen by Lenore Blegvad and illustrated by Erik Blegvad. (1974)

I love the pics but also the old cute rhymes and poems! Lucky my mum is a poet :)

I wonder if there are many husband & wife writer/illustrator combo's today for kids books?

Hey yes, that's funny that I've featured a husband/wife combo today too! I haven't come across it before, though I think there are quite a few siblings, eg like Janet and Anne Grahame Johnstone, who are awesome.

This book looks familiar to me.

I like Janet and Allan Ahlberg's books, especially The Jolly Postman :: so sweet.
